Lecture Theatres

Our lecture hall (or lecture theatre) is a large enough for instruction, teaching and learning. Unlike a traditional classroom with a capacity normally between one and fifty, the capacity of our lecture halls is typically measured in the hundreds. The lecture hall have a pitched floor, so that those in the rear are sat higher than those at the front (i.e., tiered seating), allowing students to see the lecturer.

The Department apart from the lecture halls have other differ from learning spaces, seminar rooms in particular, classrooms, etc. Our teaching and learning, lecture halls are excellent for focusing the attention of a large group on a single point, either an instructor or an audio-visual presentation, etc. They are also equiped with facilities such as fully air conditioning system, microphone and loudspeakers to help the lecturer be heard, and projection screens are used for large displays.
